These cookies were very good for breakfast cookies or a snack on the go to provide energy. I’m always looking for healthy breakfast cookies so I might use this as a base for more recipes to come.
Montana Camp Cookies (from Bob’s Red Mill United States of Cookies)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cream butter, brown sugar and honey. Add applesauce, vanilla, peanut butter and egg.
- In a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Add chopped cherries last.
- Add dry ingredients to wet, a little bit at a time, until it’s all combined.
- Spoon by the tablespoonful onto baking pan and cook for 15-20 minutes.
